Beautiful hike starting from Colombata on a snow-covered dirt road, frequently used by snowshoers and ski mountaineers. After the pine forest at Grange Serri Sottano, wide sunny meadows open up with stunning views. For the most trained, it’s possible to reach the summit of Monte Cappel (2,368 m).

A classic snowshoe hike: from the Parish Church of Marmora, climb through a larch forest along a snow-covered road to the last hut past the San Teodoro chapel; from here, across alpine meadows to the summit of Monte Buch and the panoramic ridge of Costa Chiggia.

IL COLLE DI SEMPEYRE AD ELVA 2.284 m
An easy snowshoe hike across the pastures of Elva, following the road that in summer reaches Valle Varaita. Incredible views of the Chersogno–Pelvo d’Elva range and, from the pass, of Monviso. You can extend the hike to the nearby summit of Cugn di Goria (2,384 m).
